New Scent Spotlight - Pumpkin Amber

 I will be the first to admit, I am a fruity type scent girl myself, occasionally an outdoorsy scent with some fruit mixed in ;) But this Fall Scent Pumpkin Amber is totally changing my mind!  It is a more mild scent than the Pumpkin Bread that Pink Zebra already has, as it has less "spice" if you will. To me, it honestly smells like Pumpkin Pie! Product Review: Picture Shade for Simmering Lights

I have to say this is probably one of the most beautiful and versatile of all the Shades :) You print whatever you want on the 6 provided heatproof photo papers, and you not only have a totally customized little lamp, but your house smells wonderful :) You can do just so many things with it- it makes a wonderful soft nightlight for baby's room (and covers up the not so nice smells babies can make ;)), a beautiful wedding centerpiece, etc etc etc.  See the pictures below for inspiration .. these things are AWESOME!

Product Review: Simmer Pots :)

Product Review: Simmer Pots-
Now simmer pots are certainly not something exclusive to PZ- all you have to do is walk in any Target or Marshalls (or Walmart) and find a plethora of adorable simmer pots in all kinds of shapes and sizes. The premise is all pretty much the same- either a warming plate or a lightbulb warms wax to a liquid state to release their oils and refresh your home without burning a candle Awesome idea huh? Well the cool thing is, Sprinkles will work in any simmer pot. That said, Sprinkles do last longer in our simmer pot- of course. Why is that you ask? Well, Pink Zebra simmer pots are unique in that they run at a lower temperature- for 2 reasons... Sprinkles SoftSoy wax melts at a lower temperature than other wax bars (they are also in smaller pieces which also makes them melt faster) but this is a benefit in that the oils release slower, and evaporate slower giving you a longer scent experience! There are of course stronger scents than others, and some are quite mild if you need that (I know a lot of people who are very sensitive to scents) but I absolutely love my simmer pot!!

#1  Of course... the Home Party

I come to your home- and bring all sorts of cool products for you and your guests to try out! You can even choose a theme to make it even more fun! You invite the guests - I do the rest! We play games, eat yummy treats, have fun giveaways and contests, and see all the wonderful things Pink Zebra has to offer!
Don't have room- or don't want to have one at your house? How about a Girls night at a restaurant? Or a bunko night? How about a BBQ? (I just come and leave some items for you, and leave you and your friends to your party! I can give a little demo or not it is up to you!!)
How about a lunch break party? I can come to your work (I bring treats!) and set up a party in your breakroom! 

#2  Party To Go :)

This party is a little more relaxed and low key.  You take a box (or binder) full of PZ goodies, (you sign it out from me) and share it with all your friends and family, coworkers and neighbors, and then you return it to me with the orders... how EZ is that??? EZPZ that's what! :)

#3  Business Party (Salon, Real Estate Office, Doctor, Dentist, Lawyer... etc etc etc)

If you have a Salon, or work in an office (doctor, dentist, lawyer... you get the point right?) I can bring you samples, some catalogs, a Jar of your favorite sprinkles (or recipe) and a warmer so you can showcase the products without saying a word! People can take samples and place orders! If you get $200 in orders by the specified time (usually 2 weeks or so) you get to keep your warmer and jar! If you have a qualifying amount of orders, you get even more free and half priced items! If not, it's ok, I just take the warmer back, and you keep the sprinkles as my thank you gift to you for your time and trouble! :)

In fact, if you are in Real Estate, I would love to speak with you!!! Our sprinkle warmers and Reed Diffusers are AWESOME ways to have a home smell wonderful without the danger and soot of a candle.  What is that they say? Baked goods smells entice the buyer?  We have a sprinkle for that ;) (and a Reed Diffuser :))

#4  Open House

This is a party, either at my home, or another location, where you can invite your peeps, and they can come and go- this is a little more relaxed situation, and most people can spare a few minutes to come by and support you :) and see some new stuff! I usually offer treats for your guests if you so desire

#5  Facebook Party

I am sure you have seen this all over, from all kinds of Direct Sales companies :) It is where I set up a link for you, and we decide on a time frame, and it's basically like a Home Party- without the cleaning up or the treats! We still play games, have giveaways, and I present the products in a fun way.  The cool part is that you can invite your friends and family from anywhere and everywhere! They place orders and they are shipped directly to them wherever they may be! Awesome right? A facebook can be combined with any other party as well- and unless you ask me specifically not to, I will set up one for your home or catalog party automatically!

#6  Online Catalog Party

A Catalog Party is probably the most low key- you take a binder or small bag full of samples, catalogs, and a few other things, you take it to work with you, or show it to your friends and family at your leisure. I do a quick online party- usually a day or 2 where I answer questions, then you do the rest!  Like the Party to Go, you will meet with me to return the items and get your orders in!

#7  Special Contests

Once every few months (or even more often if the mood strikes :)) I will hold various contests that will allow you to get free items for collecting orders.  No matter how you decide to do it, you could win up to $100 in free Pink Zebra stuff, and I offer free prizes just for participating! Hello and WELCOME!

Hello!!! Welcome to my new blog- Sprinkled Pink- all about anything and everything PINK ZEBRA!!

A little about me, my name is Renee- and I started with Pink Zebra as an Independant Consultant just a short while ago, but I absolutely LOVE it!  Ok, it doesn't take much to get me excited about anything pink, (or sparkly) haha if you know me.  I have to admit that was the initial excitement, but once I saw the adorable little soy wax beads called "Sprinkles", and even better yet, smelled the scents, I was HOOKED! There are currently 62 amazing scents ranging from your gourmet bakery scents like Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, and Cake Batter, to fruity scents like "Tropical Mango" and "Orange Slices", and "clean" scents like "Beach Breeze" and "Turquoise Waters", and tons of floral and outdoorsy scents like "Light My Fire" and "Floral Breeze" Honestly, I have never smelled any candles that have EVER been this spot on!  (sometimes almost TOO spot on ;))

The 62 scents (and through July, a new one will be added each month! Yay!) themselves are amazing, but get this, you can mix and match them to your heart's desire- and without wielding a knife! (if you know me, that is a very dangerous thing... I am quite clumsy ;)) You add them to any warmer (though our warmers are recommended for peak performance) and enjoy! I will explain some more about other awesome ways to use Sprinkles to make your home smell delicious as we go on here :)

For those of you stumbling on this -If you have never heard of Pink Zebra- you are not alone! Pink Zebra is a fledgeling company with less than 15,000 consultants nationwide, but has been growing exponentially since it's start into Direct Sales in 2011. The founders owned a candle company back in the day. They actually met with Bath & Body Works and started their candle line. Bath & Body Works didn't have candles prior to meeting with Kelly. Tom & Kelly created & made candles for them for several years along with Pier One & others.  After they sold that company they started Pink Zebra. This is fun because they know the wax/fragrance oil ratio or formula that those companies use and Pink Zebra is using 2 - 3 times more fragrance oil than Bath & Body Works & Pier One. Creating a formula that will allow more fragrance oil is tricky because wax & oil don't like to mix but PZ did it and that formula is patent pending. More fragrance oil means a longer melt time & stronger fragrance.

Each jar of fragrance is 3.75 oz, and a typical "melting" size is 1 Tablespoon- total.  There are also adorable cartons that look like ice cream containers that hold about 16 oz (so about 4 jars!) You can add more if you wish, but you don't have to! Each scent is quality tested to last at the very least 16 hours minimum at a 20 feet radius, so of course in smaller rooms, this will be longer.  There are some scents that I have put in my warmer that I smelled not only in the same room but across the whole house, and sometimes you don't even have to burn it to really smell it far.  Some customers have told me they have burnt a tablespoon for an entire week! I won't say that is normal, but everyone's sense of smell is different :).  So honestly, it is dependant upon your sense of smell, the size of your space, and what you prefer.  To receive a FREE sample please click here!
